Holly Sandelands

Qualifications: DPT Physiotherapy (CSP, HCPC, APTA registered), B.A. in Biology, Polestar Pilates comprehensive rehabilitation. Pre and post pregnancy certified. Pink ribbon post-operative rehab.

Hi, my name is Holly and I graduated from Columbia University with Honors and a Doctor of Physical Therapy in NY, USA. Prior to my Doctoral studies, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lafayette College with a B.A. in Biology. After this I begain working for private Orthopedic practices throughout New York City and New Jersey. In 2017 I relocated to London and starting working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, treating a wide range of clients from sedentary to high-level athletes. During COVID I went back to the USA and have been working online since.

In addition to my passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy, I have also completed my training in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy through the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy in the United States. This is a distinguished certificate which is officially recognised and meets all standards established by the International Continence Society (ICS). Since 2009, I have also been a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the United States. It was my time as an EMT that first inspired me to pursue a career that impacts the people around me every day through personalised rehabilitation and steadfast commitment to getting them back on their feet.

I quickly fell in love with Pilates and the potential it has for people during every aspect of their rehabilitation needs and every stage of life. Consequently, I became fully certified through Polestar Pilates, completing my comprehensive equipment Pilates training. I found that Pilates adds another layer of skill to my practice, which compliments my physiotherapy approach, allowing me to treat patients with a wide variety of goals and aspirations, whether that is for ongoing maintenance treatment, injury prevention, or active rehabilitation from pre-existing injuries.

When not working or in the Pilates studio, you will find me in the kitchen as I love cooking, reading and traveling.
