QUALIFICATIONS: PhD Physiotherapy, B.A. in Biology, Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Rehabilitation training
Holly graduated from Columbia University with Honors and her Doctor of Physical Therapy in NY, USA. Prior to her Doctoral studies, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lafayette College with a B.A. in Biology. Holly has experience working for private orthopedic practices throughout New York City and New Jersey. She relocated to London in 2017 and has worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, treating patients from the sedentary to high-level athletes with a wide variety of diagnoses.
Holly is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP), and American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She is also registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
In addition to her training as a physiotherapist, Holly has been a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the United States since 2009. It was her time as an EMT that first inspired her to pursue a career that impacts the people around her every day through personalized rehabilitation and steadfast commitment to getting them back on their feet.
Holly quickly fell in love with Pilates and the potential it has for her patients during every aspect of their rehabilitation needs. She is currently undergoing the Comprehensive Polestar Rehabilitation UK course and teaches both mat and equipment Pilates. She finds that Pilates adds another layer of skill to her practice, which compliments her physiotherapy approach very nicely, allowing her to treat patients with a wide variety of goals and aspirations, whether that is for ongoing maintenance treatment, injury prevention, or active rehabilitation from pre-existing injuries.
When not working or in the Pilates studio, Holly enjoys cooking, reading, nutrition and traveling.
