Clinical Pilates Instructor
QUALIFICATIONS: BSc Physiotherapy. Polestar Pilates Comprehensive. Pre and Post Natal trained
Veronica graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Notre Dame in Perth, Australia and quickly found a passion working within a Musculoskeletal setting. Through this work, she has treated a range of injuries across all ages and quickly came to see the benefit of movement therapy as a great treatment solution for a large variety of clients.
Because of this, in 2015 she started her training through Polestar Pilates and has worked primarily in exercise prescription using this method. Veronica is passionate about helping people achieve their goals – whether that is to be able to get dressed in the morning without pain, playing golf, running as well as everything in between.
On her way to the UK in 2017, Veronica worked as a Snow Sports Physiotherapist in Japan, assessing, diagnosing and treating Ski and Snowboard related sporting injuries. This gave her more experience working with athletes in the acute and final return to play phases. She returned to Japan this winter 2018-2019 to work in and manage the ski and snowboard Physiotherapy clinic.
Veronica is highly passionate about the treatment of long-standing pain conditions, particularly spinal, believing that understanding your own pain is a big step towards being able to treat it. Veronica has done additional courses with some of the world’s leading Pain Scientists, and brings all of that information to you in a way that is relevant and easy to understand.
Outside of the clinic you will most likely find her with a donut in hand, going for a run around the canals or scoping out new restaurants.
