Roxy Morgan
Qualifications: CSP associate practitioner, BSc Sports Rehabilitation, Polestar Pilates comprehensive rehabilitation, trained in APPI mat and Pre and Post pregnancy Pilates. Dynamic reformer certified with Power Pilates. Level 3 Personal trainer and Level 4 Sports massage.
Hi, my name is Roxy and I am the senior clinic manager for Complete Pilates. I originally qualified with a BSc in Sports Rehabilitation from St Marys University in 2016.
Prior to my degree, I danced for 16 years and worked as a personal trainer helping clients achieve their health and wellbeing goals. This experience helped me to understand first-hand the hard work, training and dedication it takes to prepare for competitions, whether it is an athlete training for a major event or an office worker training for their first race. It also showed me how strong you need to be but also how much stability and flexibility is needed. As a result I was drawn to further my knowledge with Polestar Pilates Comprehensive training.
I saw how linking manual therapy and exercise together promoted responsibility and awareness in aiding the treatment of muscular pain and dysfunction. This realisation was furthered when I worked within elite sports teams, working with the New Zealand All Blacks for the Rugby World Cup 2015, and the English Institute of Sport since 2016, treating a variety of professional athletes such as English squash, triathletes and runners.
I have worked in our Chelsea studio since 2016 as a Clinical Pilates instructor and studio manager. I am also part of Complete Pilates on demand programme. Here, I focus on mat and equipment Pilates, to enhance body awareness and progress rehabilitation.
Since having my gorgeous baby boy Hudson in December 2022, my role at Complete has changed slightly. I now teach online 1:1’s and I am Complete Pilates senior clinic manager. This involves a lot more work behind the scenes, which I am really enjoying!
Understanding the body’s anatomy, movement imbalances and biomechanics, gives me the drive to help my clients through their journey back to a pain free and functional life.
When I am not teaching, you will find me playing with my gorgeous baby Hudson and Cooper the cockapoo, having quality time with my family, nieces and nephew and enjoying the Norfolk seaside!
