From our Director and Founder, Helen O'Leary
In 2020 I challenged myself to write the first ever mission statement for Complete Pilates. I wanted to generate clarity and take the dreams that were in my head to put them down on paper.
A global pandemic, lots of changes both to the business and to myself personally meant that my vision for the company has shifted slightly so it is time to re-write the values we have.
The point of a mission statement is for us to check in and see whether the decisions we are making are helping us to achieve it. It gives us something to measure these decisions on, and if they don't get us a small step closer, help us decide whether we should be doing it.
We are continuing to grow and develop the services we offer. This is developing from a greater understanding of our experiences, new ideas coming into the team, and a wider variety of clients coming through our doors.
This statement allows new, and existing, members of the team, to understand the core values of the company and have something in common. It also allows for people to see whether they want to be a part of the company, whether it be instructors, employees, or clients.
