Qualifications: Polestar Pilates Comprehensive

Hi, I’m Adriana.

My journey into Pilates and movement education began through personal experience. As a former semi-professional equestrian, I sustained a serious accident that led to chronic back pain and complex neurological issues. I found lasting change and pain relief through intelligent, purposeful movement.

I’m trained in the comprehensive Polestar Pilates rehabilitation method, with ongoing education in anatomy, breathwork, scar tissue release, and neurodevelopmental approaches that support motor control, joint stability, and functional movement integration.

My approach combines detailed anatomical understanding with clinical principles like breath mechanics, joint centration, and reflex-driven movement. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients navigating pain, recovering from injury, or seeking to improve their movement quality and overall function—whether for daily life or athletic performance. Together, we create a supportive space to rebuild trust in movement and develop effective, lasting strategies.

Outside the studio, I’m a proud movement and anatomy nerd and an avid traveller—I’ve explored over 60 countries so far and I’m on a mission to reach 100. I’m also attempting to learn Greek, although at this stage I’m far more fluent in core anatomy than in φ, χ, or ψ. Let’s just say if the Greek alphabet ever needs help with joint centration, I’m ready.
