Cassandra Gramozi

Qualifications: CSP associate practitioner, BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in sports massage and remedial soft tissue therapy, Polestar Pilates comprehensive rehabilitation certified, Pre and post pregnancy certified. Pink ribbon post-operative rehabilitation.

Hi my name is Cassandra and since 2004, I have been working in Sports Massage, seeing first-hand the positive effects of soft tissue therapy in a variety of settings.

My interest in Pilates and movement began when I started at Saracens RFC in 2008, before moving to Wasps RFC in 2010 as Senior Soft Tissue Therapist. I saw first-hand how rehabilitation and equipment Pilates could change a professional athlete’s movement, giving them a strong base on which to build on. Pilates was a way of significantly reducing the athlete’s pain, enabling them to move faster through their rehab.

After three seasons at Wasps, I moved into the world of Olympic Sports and spent the next four years working in the English Institute of Sport and the Intensive Rehabilitation Unit. In 2017, I started working for the Football Association as a consultant Soft Tissue Therapist to the U21’s Men’s England football team. Within this role, I use the fundamentals of Pilates and movement therapy to assist in rehab as well as activation and recovery work.

I have expanded on my love of movement by completing the Polestar Pilates reformer and fully comprehensive courses. This helped me have further options when working with clients for sports rehab, oncology and older adults. I love using my manual therapy skills to assist movement and help people achieve more from every session. For pre and post-natal clients I am also the perfect choice, particularly in your third trimester.

When I am not working or on tour, you will find me in my vegetable patch, catching up with family and friends in Canada and wistfully planning a grand design!
