Hi, I’m Nabila, a Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Instructor originally from Canada. I have a strong foundation in movement science and rehabilitation, and I bring together academic expertise and clinical experience to deliver evidence-based, individualised Pilates.
I completed my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University in Toronto, before earning my Master’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham. This background allows me to seamlessly integrate physiotherapy principles into Pilates, helping clients move with greater confidence, control, and efficiency.
I’ve always had a love for sport and exercise, and I was first introduced to Pilates through group classes with friends. I quickly recognised how closely it aligns with physiotherapy, which sparked my passion for combining both disciplines. This led me to complete my Reformer Pilates Instructor certification, deepening my interest in using mindful, purposeful movement as part of rehabilitation and long-term wellbeing.
I began my career in paediatric physiotherapy, where I developed a strong understanding of functional movement, motor development, and the importance of tailored exercise. These early experiences continue to influence how I work today, particularly when supporting clients recovering from injury or managing ongoing conditions.
My own Pilates journey has shaped my teaching style. I focus on building strength, balance, flexibility, and body awareness in a way that feels empowering, sustainable, and supportive. Whether your goal is rehabilitation, improved performance, or simply moving better in everyday life, I aim to guide you with clinical insight and a personalised approach.
Outside of the studio, you’ll usually find me training, exploring London, or travelling whenever I can.
