Qualifications: Certified Stott mat and reformer

Hi my name is Sandra and I’m a clinical Pilates teacher.

I have come across Pilates as a part my the rehab program, which was recommended by my physio to treat my various reoccurring injuries. I was born with clubfoot, Pilates has helped me over the years improve the biomechanics of my body, through working on my muscle balance, strength, body awareness and precision. I love how Pilates treats the body as a whole and not separate systems. I also enjoy how each exercise requires full mind and body connection led by the breath. I am fascinated by how versatile and accommodating the Pilates method can be, catering for all levels of fitness and goals.

I am a certified Stott reformer and mat teacher. My main interests are working with injuries which encouraged me to further deepen my knowledge. I am continuing to do this by taking part in my Polestar comprehensive rehab course. I believe that Pilates is a journey, it never stops improving, there is always more to know and experience.

The thing I find most rewarding is to witness my clients progress and their joy of movement. I have vast spectrum of clients, my teaching is precise, tailored to their needs, encourages challenges  but also respecting their limitations.

Outside of the studio you can find me hiking, cycling, and enjoying stand-up comedy with friends. I also have an interest in psychology.
