Zak is a medical student from the North of England, who is currently in London studying Medicine at Barts and The London, School of Medicine & Dentistry. Prior to starting his medical training, Zak worked as a health care assistant in Sheffield.
Currently in his penultimate year, Zak is involved in research and extra clinical practice following down a Trauma & Orthopaedics path. He is extremely interested in the relationship between movement and Pilates and the multiple benefits that it provides. Zak is hoping to use this research to support and make the wider benefits of this clinical modality known within health and spinal care.
Outside of medicine Zak is part of a global youth project called Charity Week. This is a unity project which aims to engage young people to participate in fundraising to support orphans and needy children around the world.
