Qualifications: Physiotherapy MSc, Polestar Pilates comprehensive rehabilitation
Lysh graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne in 2016, following an undergraduate in Biomedical Science. Upon graduating, Lysh undertook further qualifications in clinical Pilates, spinal management and sports rehabilitation. She spent her first two years working in musculoskeletal private practices around Melbourne, and as the head physiotherapist for elite football, cricket and boxing teams.
At the end of 2018 Lysh left the land down under and spent a season in Japan, working as a snow-sports physiotherapist in Hakuba. Here, she gained valuable experience assessing and treating traumatic musculoskeletal injuries, as well as rehabilitating elite athletes back to the snow following a variety of sports injuries.
Eventually, in early 2019 Lysh made her way over to London where she has been working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist ever since.
Lysh has always been a huge advocate of active, individualised rehabilitation therapy. She loves getting to the source of the problem and ensuring that you reach all of your goals (even the ones you haven’t thought of yet!). She has been using Pilates as a rehabilitation tool for the last 4 years to treat a variety of conditions, including neck and low back pain, sport injuries and complex neurological presentations. She also has experience teaching Pilates to clients in all phases of life, including children/adolescents, pre/post-natal women and older adults.
When Lysh isn’t in the studio, you’ll find her with a coffee in one hand, food in the other and preparing to board her next flight to Europe.
