Beginners Pilates in London
Our Pilates classes for beginners are available as 1:1 and group sessions in person, or online. Our London studios are conveniently located in Chelsea, Angel and the City. All new clients receive our New Client Offer which includes your first two sessions for £130.
All of our beginners Pilates classes in London are designed to teach you the basic movements and principles of Pilates.

What is Beginners Pilates?
Beginners Pilates is for anyone new to Pilates! We specialise in equipment Pilates, so these classes are also suitable for anyone who has tried mat Pilates before but may not be familiar with using equipment such as the reformer, the trapeze table, the wunda chair and the ladder-barrell. If you’re looking specifically for beginner Reformer Pilates classes, these classes are perfect for you, as you will use the Reformer in all of your 1:1 studio classes.
If you’re opting for one of our online options, we’ll provide a personalised mat-based Pilates class for you, incorporating any equipment you might have at home such as weights, Pilates balls or resistance bands.
As a beginner, we’ll introduce you to the principles of Pilates movement and after understanding your goals and how you move, progress you through exercises that are specifically tailored for you. Whether you need to improve mobility, strength, endurance, stability or coordination, Pilates can help you!

We also work closely with Complete Physiotherapy as well as leading consultant groups like the Fortius Clinic. This means that if you’re already receiving care or you require further specialised input, we regularly work alongside other clinicians to ensure you’re getting the multidisciplinary care you need.

If you have any medical conditions or have had investigations such as xrays or MRIs, you’re welcome to share these with us. If you’re under the care of another clinician or consultant we may ask for consent to speak with them so we can ensure seamless ongoing care for you.
It is really important as a beginner to ensure you have a tailored programme that works towards goals that you have set. Have a think about these before you come. They can be big or small but should mean something to you, and will help us track your progression and improvements.
You do not need a referral from anyone to start Pilates with us. We do ask you to fill in our registration form, so that we can make sure you are seeing the right person. If you have any injuries, we will ensure you are seeing the most experienced clinician for your concerns.
