You may have an injury or pain, and want to know how to manage it through your pregnancy and beyond or perhaps you simply want to prepare for labour. Pilates can help.
Your body and your pregnancy are individual to you.
At Complete Pilates we will design a programme that is specific to your needs, safe and progresses with you through the trimesters and postnatally. These are fully designed by a Physiotherapist or clinical Pilates instructor with a full women’s heath team behind them. This gives you the support and expert advice you need at every stage.
Our introductory offer of two, 1 hour, 1:1 sessions for £100 means you get a full body individual assessment. From this we design a programme which is specific to you and your needs.
How does it work?
Depending on your needs, we will organise an appointment with the instructor we think is best suited to you.
Before your appointment we ask you to fill in our antenatal form. This has lots of questions which screen for common pregnancy related conditions. It also asks about previous deliveries and pregnancies.
We understand these questions are quite personal. However, they give us a lot of information which means we can highlight any problems quickly and refer you to one of our clinical women’s health physiotherapist’s prior to your session. This gives you a seamless transition into exercise, knowing it is safe.
Do not worry, you will definitely move!
We aim to get you moving as quickly as possible and try to give you some movements to go away with.
Although the first session may feel a little jumpy, we are on a fact finding mission and are attempting to get as much information as possible from you and your body. This means that everything we give you will be focused on you. Although there is carry over, no two sessions are the same and we will get you on the equipment straight away.
