Why Complete Pilates

So – why make our Pilates studio near Kings Cross your new favourite Pilates stop? Here are just some of the reasons our clients love Complete Pilates:

Evolving methods

At Complete Pilates, our Pilates methods are constantly in evolution.  We research and develop our classes with the latest scientific insights, and work with medical organisations such as Schoen Hospital and BARTS NHS Trust – so you can be confident in receiving high-quality instruction from experts in the field. Plus, many of our instructors are not just experts in Pilates, but they’re also highly trained in physiotherapy and osteopathy as well; this knowledge helps them to better understand each client’s musculoskeletal needs.

Online classes

For whatever reason you can’t make it to an in-person group class, we’ve got you covered! We offer our Complete Pilates group classes online, allowing you to work out from the comfort of your own home. Whether you’re a nervous beginner, or an experienced pro who simply can’t make it to the studio on time, our online classes are tailored to all skill levels and abilities. What’s great about our online classes is that you don’t have to follow along live – if you’re busy during the class, you can watch it on demand later.

Our expert team

Our professional team has undergone extensive study and work in the field of both Pilates and physiotherapy, so you can rest assured that you’re in good hands when working out with us. Aside from being qualified professionals, our team also prides itself on being inclusive, friendly, diverse, and welcoming to all.

A pilates experience, custom designed for your needs

What’s great about Pilates is that it’s one of the easiest types of workouts to try if you’re a beginner, or recovering from an injury. As it’s low impact, the pressure on your joints is minimal, meaning you can work on your balance and flexibility even during times of injury.

That being said, our aim is to create a Pilates experience that is unique to each of our clients. While Pilates is low impact, we know that that doesn’t mean all abilities are the same. Here’s what we offer in our Angel studio:

Pregnancy Pilates classes

At Complete Pilates, we understand that the prenatal period can be overwhelming for many women. To help you remain connected to your body throughout pregnancy, we offer 1-to-1  Pilates classes designed specifically for soon-to-be mothers. Our pregnancy Pilates classes will help you to strengthen your core and pelvic floor muscles, as well as reducing back pain – while also keeping your mind-body connection strong.

Postnatal Pilates classes

The postnatal period can be as difficult for many women as pregnancy:  you’re exhausted, you’ve gone through physical and emotional changes, your hormones are all over the place – to name but a few things! To help you reconnect with your body during this period, our postnatal Pilates classes focus on rebuilding the core strength that can often be lost or reduced after childbirth.

Rehab Pilates

Having an injury doesn’t mean you can’t still work out – in fact, it can be a great opportunity to focus on rebuilding strength and improving flexibility. Our rehab Pilates classes are tailored to your individual needs, allowing you to work at a comfortable pace while also pushing yourself a little bit more each day. Depending on your needs, you’ll likely start with one of our chartered physiotherapists, who will be there to support you throughout your journey and led on your care.

Group classes and online classes

If you prefer the traditional in-person class, we also offer group classes in our Angel studio. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, you won’t be the only one in our classes – which means you can meet like-minded people who are just as interested in Pilates as you. Plus, with the ability to book online classes at any time of day, you’re sure to find a class that suits your schedule and experience level. At Complete Pilates, we’re especially proud of our beginner classes. We understand that just starting out can be daunting – but with the support of expert instructors and a safe, encouraging space, you’ll soon find yourself growing in confidence as you progress. Our beginner Pilates classes are tailored to those who are new to the world of pilates, so you can expect a slow pace and plenty of modifications to fit your own needs.
