This exercise is a great one for that!
- Keep your head in the middle of your breast bone
By keeping your chin in the centre, you will make sure you are rotating your ribs around your spine rather than just moving your shoulders!
- Let your head be supported
Allow your head to rest in your hands rather than poking your chin forwards. By interlacing your fingers and running your thumbs down your neck, you will create a hammock for your head to sit in.
- Find your dish
The prep work is really important in making sure you find the support from both the front and back of your body. By finding your dish, you will help to achieve distributed spine flexion whilst your abs are working!
