Kerri found her passion for movement from a young age. Whether it be on a diving platform, in the gymnastics arena or on the tennis court, she has always moved her body and from a young age, immersed herself in a wide range of sport and exercise. It was only when she ended her Elite Springboard and Platform Diving Career in 2005 that she found Pilates. Coming from long and intensive days of diving training, to slower and more precise movements, Pilates allowed Kerri to move her body in a different way and she was instantly hooked. Pilates was more than just movement of her body, but provided mindfulness and a focus on creating a mind and body harmony which she loved.
Becoming a Diagnostic Radiographer in 2012, Kerri entered the Medical Field and enjoyed the deep insight into the human body this gave her. Gaining an extensive understanding of human anatomy, she decided to combine this with her love of Pilates, and in 2016 enrolled in the Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Course. Pairing the two together has been both fulfilling and rewarding and Kerri loves assisting clients in reaching their goals. Kerri hopes to provide a holistic approach and inspire any individual to embrace movement.
